ABOUT THE SYNCREX
The Mazak SYNCREX Swiss-Type Production Turning Machine powers through high-speed production of small, precise parts in a 7-, 8-, 9-, and 9x-axis configuration that includes five spindle motors. The machine transforms productivity with innovative new technologies, from the 15″ touch-panel MAZATROL SmoothSt CNC with full mechanical keyboard to the High Damping Composite Casting (HDCC) base for better rigidity, less thermal distortion, longer tool life and better surface finishes.
The exclusive Mazak tool presetter cuts setup time from days to hours with fast presetting of up to 45 onboard tools. The spline-connected sliding head spindle heightens accuracy and reduces material waste, while the variable vibration cut system provides stable, repeatable performance.

Improved Base
Mazak engineered its High-Damping Composite Casting (HDCC) that offers 80% less vibration at the cutting point and 30% longer tool life.
Setup Assist
MSSA is an automated tool setting process that automatically measures and sets the tool data for each tool position, reducing the setup times by 50%.
Guide Bushing
A removable guide bushing adapter enables operators to preset guide bushing outside the machine. Paired with a large door opening makes this a great feature for job shops.
Chip Control
Mazak Dynamic Chip Control (MDCC) is effective in breaking chips on difficult to machine materials.
